What I Offer

Healing looks different for everyone. That’s why I offer several approaches to therapy, each designed to meet you where you are and support you in moving forward with intention. Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, anxiety, or life’s challenges, together we’ll create a path that feels right for you.

Individual Therapy

A safe, supportive space to explore, heal, and grow.

In individual therapy, we work one-on-one to process what’s weighing on you and discover new ways of moving forward. These sessions are tailored to your unique needs and may focus on healing from past trauma, reducing anxiety, navigating life transitions, or simply finding more balance in your day-to-day life.

Common focus areas include:

  • Managing anxiety and stress

  • Healing from difficult or traumatic experiences

  • Building healthier boundaries and relationships

  • Adjusting to life transitions with resilience

If you’re looking for trauma or anxiety therapy in Florida, Balanced Grove Therapy can provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel understood and empowered to create meaningful change.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Reprocessing painful memories so they lose their power over you.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective, evidence-based approach for healing from trauma and distressing experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR helps your brain reprocess memories so they no longer carry the same emotional weight.

This approach can be especially helpful if you’re experiencing:

  • Post-traumatic stress symptoms

  • Anxiety, panic attacks, or phobias

  • Persistent negative self-beliefs

  • Feeling “stuck” in past experiences

By working through these memories in a safe and structured way, EMDR can help you find relief, restore balance, and reclaim your sense of self.

Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Sometimes the best healing happens with a dog by your side.

Animals bring a sense of comfort, grounding, and connection into the therapy space. With the support of my two therapy dogs, sessions can feel less intimidating and more calming, creating a safe environment for openness and healing.

Animal-assisted therapy may be especially supportive for those who:

  • Feel anxious or uneasy in traditional therapy settings

  • Benefit from the calming presence of animals

  • Are processing trauma and want added grounding in sessions

  • Value connection and trust in their healing journey

Whether integrated into trauma work or supportive sessions, animal-assisted therapy adds warmth, safety, and companionship to the process.
